🚀 The Power of First Impression & how to nail it!
🕒 You’ve got less than 7 seconds.
It’s been psychologically proven that we have maximum 7 seconds to make that first impression.
❗️Changing it takes MONTHS.
Regardless of what you say or how you express ourselves, people will always judge you from your appearance first.
Even the most self-aware people end up doing it. Nobody means anything wicked about it.
And I will tell you more.
I've experienced and observed the profound impact of this both on myself and on others. So many times that I can confidently say that I find it reckless to ignore this phenomenon.
🔥 On the flip side, imagine the tremendous positive impact that the properly chosen outfit has on your first impression!
That's why it's extremely important not to overlook your appearance. The way you dress is a powerful tool for empowerment and making a lasting impression.
And here are 3 aspects to consider in order to nail it:
👠 Circumstance: align your energy with the best version of yourself and reflect on how she wants to appear in a specific situation. Does she want to appear professional, happy, welcoming? Use colors, forms and characters to externalize what you want to convey ensuring that it’s strategic for the impression you want to make.
👠 Environment: consider venue, people, positions (sitting, standing) in choosing the apparel for the first impression. There’s a huge difference in standing outside and wearing your wool coat while making your first impression (then you definitely should pay a lot of attention to your outerwear) vs. being inside. Ensure that your outfit is proofed for the environment you’ll make your first impression in.
👠 Comfort: NEVER go and make the first impression in something that does not feel comfortable on you! Why? Because without comfort you are not able to put forward the most powerful version of yourself. Even if you are a confident person wearing a polished look, if that outfit makes you feel uncomfortable, you won’t be able to be your best self, move like your best self, speak like your best self. Try the outfit in advance to ensure that your comfort is not comprimised.
